X sues two UK residents in London over alleged creator revenue sharing fraud
Social media platform X has filed a lawsuit in London against two UK residents, alleging they fraudulently obtained money through the company’s Creator Revenue Sharing program. In the complaint, X Internet Unlimited Company and X Corp. said Vivek Kumar Sen, Zamyang Sherpa, and unidentified accomplices coordinated multiple X accounts and used likes, reposts, and replies to create the appearance of genuine engagement, which allegedly boosted their payout under the program.
The plaintiffs named nine accounts in total, including @Vivek4real_, @Bitcoin_Teddy, @saylordocs, @TrendingBitcoin, @Kalshibacktest, and @PolyBackTest. X alleged that several of the accounts posted identical or highly similar crypto-related content within minutes of each other, with one instance showing an 11-second gap between posts. The company also said some of the accounts shared overlapping financial and identity details. As one example, X said the Stripe account tied to @Bitcoin_Teddy was registered under the name “Stefan Mann,” while the linked bank account and email belonged to Sen.
X said it suffered losses of £207,384, or about $277,000, from payouts under the program, and is seeking at least £75,000, or about $100,000, to cover investigation, analysis, remediation, and steps to prevent further violations. The report also noted that X was acquired last year by Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company xAI in a $33 billion deal.
